I don’t like writing about myself, but it’s fair enough to want a short summary about me. So, I’ll tell you about the things I love. I’m a father and it is the most fun thing I’ve ever done. I’m a Pastor and a teacher. I love to cook, read and play games. My wife is a chaplain and funnier than me. I like music that is probably too loud for my poor ears. I play guitar and genuinely love preaching. I still can’t believe they let me do it each week. I have a deep passion for justice and fighting iniquity. All people, all of them, are not just accepted, but called by God and loved. God made you who you are, and Loves You for it.

Wife, Mom, Cat Mom, Crocheter, and Lover of Jesus. I was raised in one of 3 Disciples Churches in Utah. I met Bob Young when I was 14 and married him when I was 18. I have two adult sons, but no Grandchildren (I'm willing to adopt). I started at FCC of Kent just after COVID-19 and I am very glad to be here. The 18 hours a week is perfect for me and my "semi-retirement".

Father of four sons and three daughter-in-laws. Dan and his wife Bonnie have been helping to maintain the beauty of the church for more than 40 years.
